DEMATERIALISE YOUR SECURITIES

On August 1st and 2nd, a business breakfast briefing with theme, "Dematerialization of securities” was organized by Société Générale Cameroun for its valued customers. Business experts of the Commercial and Sales Department alongside SG Capital Securities CEMAC addressed a number of key points related to this theme in the presence of about sixty
representatives of companies (CEO, CFO, lawyers, Treasurers, etc.). These key points were:

• Reminder of the legal framework of the law setting out the procedures for dematerializing securities in Cameroon;
• Description of the steps involved and identification of actors of the dematerialization process;
• List of issues at stake, penalties and sanctions in the event of non-compliance with the said law;
• Presentation of Société Générale Cameroun’s support offer during the various stages of dematerialization of securities and the powerful tool specialised in the management and custody of securities made available to them by Société Générale Cameroun.

This event ended with a series of fruitful and informative exchanges.
