Beneficiary:

Any individual who is of age or emancipated, holder of a current bank account. The subscriber can only have one I-Transfer contract for all his bank accounts open at Société Générale;

How Does it work:

To access the I-transfer service, you call a vocal server, use the identification code and the password. The 8 digits’ identification code is given out to the subscriber when he signs the contract. The 6-digits password is sent through mailbox and it is mandatory for the subscriber to change it during his first call to I-transfer.

When he subscribes to the I-transfer service, the subscriber chooses the beneficiaries to whom he intends to send money. The maximum number of beneficiaries is four.

For a transfer in favour of a beneficiary holder ofa bank account open in one of Société Générale subsidiaries abroad, the subscriber gives surname, first names, a PO Box and the bank account number (IBAN or BIC) of the beneficiary along with the bank which holds the account.

For cash to be made available, the subscriber gives the surnames, first names and PO BOX of the beneficiary along as the nature and the number of the identification document which he will use for withdrawal in any branch of a Société Générale subsidiary abroad.

At any time, the subscriber will be able in his branch to change the list of beneficiaries/Receivers.

  • 2 to 3 working days for a transfer to a bank account of a Société Générale’s subsidiary in the country concerned;
  • 3 working days for cash to be made available at counter of a Société Générale’s subsidiary (with presentation of an identity document).
